L&M’s elopement wish list was simple yet grand and we were able to capture every part of it at the Ecola Beach State Park in Oregon. They wanted to elope at the Oregon Coast and had a cliff private vow exchange, waterfall, charcuterie board, a gorgeous dog and more! Seriously, it is a stunner.
L&M chose to fly to the Pacific Northwest from Kansas for a gorgeous getaway and to celebrate simply their 10year relationship and love for one another. These two reached out to me to help them plan their perfect elopement, we started with a simple wish list and it grew from there.
“We want a day full of fun, laughs, relaxation, no pressure, exploring different locations, staying in the present moment and most of all peace with no distractions. A day for both of us to fully enjoy every moment focusing on what we love about each other.”
L&M
We spent a lot of time on the beach, but this may be my favorite photo of all. You’ll want to time it at low tide though otherwise the beach essentially disappears!
The entrance road to Ecola State Park meanders through a lush Sitka Spruce Forest and then opens up to the ocean side. Allowing for these gorgeous forestry backdrops just off the road. It truly feels like you’re in another world!
It was important to L&M that their vows were fully private, peaceful and a truly special moment for them. We found this beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean, allowing even myself to take a step away while they celebrated each other together.
There’s something equally as magical to a small waterfall. L&M mentioned waterfalls several times and I’m glad that we were able to reach this one that day! It is crazy how different the water level is of this waterfall based on the time of year that you’re there too.
