Another perfect, simple and sweet Ecola Beach State Park Elopement in Cannon Beach, Oregon is in the books!
These two first reached out to me to capture their engagement session at Smith Rock State Park in Bend. We romped around, explored, and got to know each other a bit. Only to find out that A and I went to the same college for undergrad at the same time in Georgia! Talk about a small world. After me thoroughly embarrassing myself with the ultimate accidental “that’s what she said” joke, we both knew I was the perfect person to capture their elopement as well!
When I asked A&X about their vision for their special day I received “We just want a special day to celebrate finding each other. On the beach, with our families, our vows, and each other.” Which is exactly what this day was full of. We didn’t decide on a specific location until the night before I low key loved it. These two were so laid back and in love, all that mattered to them was getting married.
This day was special in so many ways. It was X’s first time seeing the Pacific Ocean, their families first time meeting and A&X were moving to a whole new state the week of their day! Talk about a celebration!
Ecola Beach State Park is just outside of downtown Cannon Beach and is the host of a beautiful private ceremony overlook complete with a bench for your elopement. This park is almost completely drive-able and only contains short walks to the water or overlook. Perfect for any family members that may not be able to join a huge hike.
