Phew! Where to begin! After working together for their engagement session (you can see it here!), I knew their wedding was going to be something seriously special.
After stalking the wedding forecast for 2 weeks prior to the wedding and watching it go from sunny and warm to cold and 90% chance of rain… my heart hurt for the two of them and all of the hard work and planning they had been through. Becca had told me at our venue walk through that the LAST thing she wanted was to do everything inside and I could see why! The property at Beacon Hill is absolutely stunning! Luckily, the inside options are beautiful as well because the forecast gradually got worse and worse.
Wedding day arrived, the forecast was ugly but the sun dances performed by myself, the couple, and their friends and family WORKED! While it hailed and thunder-stormed up in Portland all day, the clouds parted and provided Becca & Robert with a perfectly sunny, dry afternoon for their celebrations!
After some beautiful vows and tears shed by all (me included), we escaped to the cabin up on the hill that is available to rent by the venue (one of two on the property!). Y’all, venues that have this kind of breath taking area for the couple to escape to and breathe for a minute WIN! We could have spent the whole evening up there! We were even photobombed by some deer.
Rain drops began to fall as I climbed into my car at the end of the night concluding a perfect day.
Vendors tagged at the end of the gallery! This is a quick edit of a few of my favorite images from their day. A full gallery will be sent to the couple when it is ready!
Enjoy 💕
