Dear COVID, We Still Had A Great Time!

Where to even begin… These two are as sweet and pleasant as they are gorgeous and we had an absolute blast doing their wedding photos at Sentinel Hotel!

Thanks to our dear friend COVID, I was not able to attend their actual ceremony at the Portland Courthouse. These two were actually married in December outside the building. We met at the Sentinel hotel to wander around. Actually thanks to COVID, the hotel was essentially empty. We had the place to ourselves!

Family photos were first then we were on our way! We spent the next hour and a half exploring the various libraries, rooms and hallways hidden throughout the hotel. A quick outfit change gave us a completely different vibe for the second half of the photos and I loved every second of it.

Indoor Photoshoots Are Awesome!

This session was especially memorable for me because as you can probably tell, majority of my work is done outside. We were presented with a chilly, rainy winter day with nothing but indoor location options so it challenged me in a super fun way! I walked away feeling a renewed sense of creativity and a longing to capture a variety of locations even more! Not to mention these two made my job entirely too easy.

You Still Deserve To Be Documented And Celebrated

I wanted to make sure to highlight these two and share that just because you are having a courthouse ceremony, you still deserve to have it documented and celebrated. You are still committing to forever with your partner and that is awesome! There are so many easy ways to make it happen and utilizing a near by stunning building is simply one of them.
