One of the great things about choosing to have your elopement in Oregon is there are incredible options all year-round. This exact location is epic in summer but even more so when it is snowy! You can’t go wrong with a Mt. Hood Oregon Elopement.
Snowshoes are a fabulous thing to plan on using for your snowy elopement even if you don’t intend to adventure very far out. For this one, we only walked maybe 100-200 yards but when the snow is super deep or soft, the snowshoes prevent you from sinking into it! Example, I was being arrogant walking over to the (gorgeous) tablescape set up and sure enough went right through the snow up to my hip. Boot got lost down in the hole (that’s what she said). My arms weren’t long enough to reach it. Big mess. Needless to say, it was snowshoes from there on out the rest of the day!
The amazing, amazing vendors are all listed in the bottom of the post. Everything turned out so incredible and I am already longing to get back out into the snowy wilderness and repeat this adventure! If you are planning a Mt. Hood Oregon Elopement, you’re making a great decision. If you want help planning yours, myself and any of these vendors are more than happy to help! Check out this post of an engagement session in the exact same location in the summer!
