Where do I start?!
I knew from my initial emails with Valerie that this wedding was going to be a stunner. She sent me some Pinterest examples of what style she was going for and I was hooked.
We did most of our communication over email because her and Marc were still living in Alabama throughout her planning process but that didn’t hold her back at all! When we did our venue walk through, we hit it off immediately. We talked about our Southern love and our obsession with the Blazers as well as our pups.
Valerie and Marc met through mutual friends as she was just moving to the beautiful Rose City. Marc admittedly needed a good ole’ Southern girl to complete his world. After some talking over drinks with friends and what I can only imagine was a magical karaoke performance, Valerie was sold. Fast forward to Valerie moving back to Alabama (Roll Tide Roll!) and Marc realizing he couldn’t live without her, they then decided to take on this life together hand in hand.
The love between them their entire wedding day was palpable. There wasn’t a single detail left untouched on this gorgeous day and wedding coordinator Melissa with Griffin Event Management made sure the day went by flawlessly.
I have to say, I think rooftop weddings may be my new favorite. That and any bride which allows me to sing and dance to Dixieland Delight along side her is a winner in my book.
Full vendor list at the bottom of the post. Trust me, you’ll want to know who rocked these details!
Thank you Marc and Valerie for being so kind and wonderful. I am so lucky to do what I do and meet people like y’all 💕
